My name is DeQon Hardister, and I’m the founder of Vantage Sky Solutions — a company that means more to me than business. It represents the legacy of my family, the lessons we’ve learned through struggle, and the vision I carry forward every single day.

I grew up watching my dad work with his hands — someone who believed in getting the job done no matter what it took. He taught me early on that hard work was non-negotiable. That if something broke, you fix it. If something’s worth building, you build it with your own two hands. That mindset stuck with me — it became part of my DNA.

After earning a degree in Mechanical Engineering and starting a career in systems engineering, I realized my heart wasn’t just in solving problems on paper — I wanted to build real-world solutions that could create impact, income, and opportunity, not just for me, but for my family and future generations.

But it didn’t happen overnight. We had businesses before this — good ideas, solid effort, but things didn’t always go the way we hoped. We took hits. We learned lessons. And through every setback, my mindset sharpened. I never stopped documenting the climb, even when there was no highlight to post. Eventually, we hit our stride with drones.

Vantage Sky Solutions was born out of all of that: the sweat equity, the failures that taught us resilience, and the belief that our story could turn into something much bigger. It started with a camera in the sky, but quickly became a powerful tool for businesses — providing visuals that convert, data that drives decisions, and a service standard built on integrity and execution.
